Second PhotoImaging Alumni in HeadOn Photographic Awards

We are pleased to announce that we now have a second alumni in the HeadOn Awards this year. Ona Janzen is a semi finalist in the HeadOn Portrait Prize. The selected image "Muse" is below.

Ona says of the image "My dear friend and painter Robert Malherbe has been painting his wife Dana since they met...for 23 years. 23 paintings for each year hanging on this wall...and more, never exhibited and exquisitely personal portraits. Hung and photographed in their home, 2015."

Ona graduated from NADC in the Diploma of Photo Imaging in 2012; and was the A.I.P.P APPA Australian Student Photographer of the Year in 2012. Her work has consistently been represented in the HeadOn Portrait Prize of recent years, where she was a finalist in 2014, and a semi-finalist in 2012. She currently runs her own photographic business in the Blue Mountains.
More of her work can be viewed on her website http://onajanzen.com.au/

She joins David Glazebrook, a finalist in the 2015 Head On Landscape Award. We will be cheering them on when the awards are announced at the opening of the HeadOn Photo Festival on May 1st in Sydney.
