Autumn excursion image winner

Diploma in PhotoImaging students ventured into the city in late May with Sally Colechin + Arunas Klupsas. They critically viewed the World Press 2015 + Sydney Morning Herald Photos1440 shows at the State Library, as well as some of the exhibitions in the HeadOn Photo Frestival.

They were also asked to capture an image that spoke to them of Autumn. The images were discussed, and the winning image judged today by Sal + Arunas. Louis Plegas won for his image below, and received an A.I.P.P award book.

Ona says of the image "My dear friend and painter Robert Malherbe has been painting his wife Dana since they met...for 23 years. 23 paintings for each year hanging on this wall...and more, never exhibited and exquisitely personal portraits. Hung and photographed in their home, 2015."
