Study Photography in 2016

Image of and by students in our Term 4, 2015 Photography Skillset , in our amazing photo studios at Nepean Arts and Design Centre.

Do you love photography? Have you always dreamed of increasing your photographic skills? In Semester 1, 2016 you have an unbelievable opportunity to make your dreams come true at Nepean Arts and Design Centre!

In Semester 1, 2016, our Statement of Attainment in Preparatory Skill Set for Professional Photo Imaging Practice is available as a FREE course. The course is an entry level opportunity to learn the basics of camera craft, lighting, professional imaging software, and professional output. The skill set is a great way to find out more about the photography industry, and successful completion of this course gives the learner entry into the Diploma of Photo Imaging.

The skillset is offered at three locations: at our home base at Nepean College Kingswood, at the Blue Mountains TAFE campus at Wentworth Falls, and in our learning space in Parramatta. Check out the link to find out more about the various locations and timetables.

There are no entry requirements for the Skill Set, just bring your enthusiasm and your DSLR camera.

You can confirm your place by completing our online enrolment form at the WSI website.

Of course, if you would like to know more about either the Diploma of Photo Imaging or the Preparatory Skill Set for Professional Photo Imaging Practice, you can come to an information and enrolment session on January 20, or January 27 from 1pm-4pm.

Location: Nepean College, Kingswood Campus, in Building P, Ground floor, Room 40.
